I'm a wedding and portrait photographer based in Fort Payne, Alabama. When I started my photography business, I had one goal in mind. I want to make you feel GREAT in front of my camera and to give you a joyful and fun photography experience like you've never had before! I don't want to just snap a few pictures, I want to tell your story and showcase your love and happiness with timeless images you will cherish for years and with generations to come!
When I am not behind my camera capturing your special moments, you can find me with a cup of coffee & a good book.... or hanging out with my husband, Patrick, and our 2 girls, Maddie & Paisley.

I began my photography business in 2019. (I really credit my husband for that decision!)
Growing up, I was always the friend with the camera trying to scrapbook every little memory. After I married Patrick and we started our family, I was always following our kids around with a camera trying to freeze precious moments in time. I got to a point where I had tried my hand at anything crafty... sewing, painting, embroidery, and yes photography. All of this while still being a wife, mom, and an ICU nurse!
It wasn't until my sister-in-law asked me to take her senior portraits, that I even considered taking on photography seriously. At that point, Patrick saw that I clearly had 'too many irons in the fire' and a lot of creative passion. So he told me to "pick one hobby and take my passion for that hobby and turn it into a business".
I instantly chose photography! The very next day I went and got my business license. I prayed that God would bless my business and help it grow. Then a few weeks later, I booked my first wedding!! Things took off and I've never looked back! God has continued to bless my small business in ways I never imagined.
I cannot wait to see what He has in store for AJ Photography in the years to come!

We have 2 daughters, Maddie & Paisley.
Our girls are just as obsessed with Disney, Star Wars, & Harry Potter as we are!
We LOVE being girl parents and everything that entails! From playing barbies, braiding hair, playing softball, climbing trees, or being in beauty pageants, we are here for it all!
We also have 2 cats, Mando & Leia.
We love to recreate Disney foods at home with our kids.
It is one of my biggest dreams to photograph a Disney Wedding!!
I actually offer photography packages for Disney portrait sessions!
I always have a bag packed with plenty of extra "ears"!
